On Sunday, November 17, 2024, a heartfelt Grave Marking Ceremony was held at the Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Commerce, GA. This special event paid tribute to the legacy of our nation’s patriots.

The ceremony featured:

✨ Presentation of Colors by the SAR Color Guard
✨ Greetings from the Georgia Society SAR
✨ Dedication of the grave marker, followed by a solemn musket salute

Wreaths were presented by representatives of both SAR and DAR chapters, symbolizing unity in honoring our shared history.
