Celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with our friends in the DAR!

Captain John Collins Chapter Treasurer Wayne Brown and President Jim Poole attended the Liberty Hill Chapter DAR’s American 250 Celebration, “Road to Liberty…Tondee’s Tavern & the Sons of Liberty,” on October 3, 2026, in Acworth.

Compatriot Wayne Brown, dressed in uniform, read the Declaration of Independence to attendees. Each attendee also signed a copy of the Declaration, adding a personal connection to the celebration of our nation’s founding.

Our chapter was pleased to join the Liberty Hill Chapter for this celebration of America’s Revolutionary heritage!
