On December 15, 2024, the historic Tate United Methodist Church in Tate, Georgia, provided a fitting backdrop as the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and the local community gathered to honor Patriot John Tate. The ceremony began with an inspiring Presentation of the Colors by the Georgia Society, SAR Color Guard. Clad in historical uniforms, the Color Guard brought to life the memory of the Revolutionary era, when patriots like John Tate courageously fought for liberty.

The highlight of the event was a solemn Musket Salute and Mourn of Muskets, executed with precision and respect by the SAR Color Guard.
