We had a fantastic turnout at our recent Captain John Collins Chapter meeting at the Hudson Grille in Kennesaw! It was an evening filled with engaging discussions and a special guest speaker.

We were honored to welcome J.K. Murphy, a dedicated journalist with a rich history in community service. J.K. is the editor and senior editor of multiple Cobb County newspapers, including the Marietta Daily Journal. He shared insightful stories from his career and offered a unique perspective on the importance of local journalism in preserving our community’s history.

During the meeting, Chapter President William S. Edelen took a moment to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our Compatriots. He presented them with a special token of appreciation for their participation in various SAR events, including Flagpole dedications, Eagle Scout ceremonies, and community outreach activities. 🎖️

We are grateful for the continued support and enthusiasm of our members. Your commitment helps us carry on the legacy of our ancestors and promote the principles of the American Revolution. Let’s continue to make a difference together!
