Presentation on Behalf of Atlanta Veterans
Kathie and Betsy Vancura, representing the Vancura family, presented a generous check in memory of our beloved Compatriot Joseph (Joe) L. Vancura, Jr. The check was received by Veteran Service Chairman Gary Hoyt to support our ongoing efforts for Atlanta veterans.
Presentation of Supplemental Ancestor Certificate
President Bill Edelen presented a certificate to Compatriot Robert Van Blackwell, descendant of George Russell, for his supplemental ancestor research and dedication to our shared heritage.
Evening Program: Marquis de Lafayette, The Nation’s Guest (1824-1825)
Our guest speaker, Beverly Baker, Daughters of the American Revolution Information Specialist, delivered an engaging and insightful presentation about the extraordinary tour of Marquis de Lafayette, exploring his impact on America’s history and spirit.
