246th Anniversary of the Battle of Brier Creek – March 8, 2025

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, members of the Captain John Collins Chapter, GASSAR proudly participated in the 246th Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Brier Creek in Screven County, Georgia. This National SAR event honored the Patriots who fought and sacrificed for American independence at this pivotal Revolutionary War battle.

The event featured a wreath-laying ceremony, Color Guard presentation, and remarks from distinguished guests, including President General Darry Addington, National SAR Color Guard Commander K. Scott Collins, state and congressional representatives, LTC Leslie Chandler (GARNG), and Georgia State Society NSDAR Regent Amy Pitman Lawson.
