All of us at the Captain John Collins Chapter extend our sincere thanks to Jeff Donahoo for joining us as guest speaker at our August meeting.

Jeff, the fourth-great-grandson of Revolutionary War Captain John Collins and Phebe Collins, shared the remarkable story of his family’s deep roots in Acworth. His presentation connected our chapter’s namesake to the community he and his descendants helped shape.

President Jim Poole and Vice President Jason Shepherd were honored to present Jeff with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his outstanding program and dedication to preserving local history.
