Saturday morning, members of the Captain John Collins Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, were honored to assist the Marietta Kiwanis Club in preparing 3,000 American flags for the 9/11 Field of Flags display at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
Each flag will stand in remembrance of a life lost on September 11, a powerful sea of red, white, and blue that reminds us of the cost of freedom and the strength of the American spirit.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community, support our Kiwanis partners, and help ensure this meaningful tribute is ready for all who come to reflect and remember.
