Frederica Naval Action – Patriots’ Day
SATURDAY, April 15th, 2023
10:00 a.m. – Memorial Ceremony – Saint Simons Island Casino, 550 Beachview Dr., Saint Simons Island, GA – SAR Color Guard with Revolutionary Flags, Patriotic Music, Wreath Presentation, Cannon, and Musket Salutes. Volley fire from the Schooner Lynx from the harbor
NOON – The Parade of Patriots – Saint Simons Island Village
The parade will start at the Lighthouse then proceed to the Pier then back to the Lighthouse. There will be the SAR Color Guard, the GCFD Antique Truck, DAR and SAR Revolutionary Reenactors, JROTC Cadets, Glynn County Students, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts Participating.
